IMPORTANT NOTICE: In order to register and use the services offered on www.sweetjournal.com website, users must accept the following General Terms and Conditions for use of the website and must provide their consent regarding the processing of personal data after reading the information pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The software used on the website is owned by the Company and is protected by the international laws on copyright. The website www.sweetjournal.com and all its contents cannot be reproduced, distributed, sold, transferred or modified in whole or in part. Sweet Journal, all graphic signs and logos are registered trademarks of Federazione Internazionale Pasticceria Gelateria Cioccolateria. Other products, services and company names mentioned herein may be trademarks of their respective owners. The website www.sweetjournal.com may contain links to websites that are not managed by the Company, which are provided for informational purposes only and to facilitate browsing. Dogtrot sas has no control over these websites or their content and, especially, it does not guarantee, nor is it responsible for the accuracy of the information contained therein. Dogtrot sas owned by Rui Margherita (hereafter referred to as “Dogtrot sas”) undertakes to protect your privacy, also when new technologies are used, with a view to ensuring secure use of the same. In compliance with art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003 “Protection of persons and other subjects with regard to processing of personal data”, we notify you of the following.


Data controller
Consulting this site means that data relative to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The data controller is Dogtrot sas, with registered offices in Carbonera, via Brigata Marche 30.


Collection of personal data
Dogtrot sas collects personal information, such as your e-mail, name and address. It also gathers information relative to your computer and software used. The latter information include: your IP address, type of browser, domain name, time of access and the website you operate from. This information are used by Dogtrot sas to provide its service and to produce statistics regarding general use of its website. Sweet Journal is the new online magazine of the FIPGC (International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate) published and curated by Dogtrot design and communication agency. This new bi-monthly online publication uses words and images to talk about “sugar and spice and all things nice”.

The mission of the International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate is to form a capillary network of all the businesses in the sector on a national and international level (schools, wholesalers, associations, businesses, etc.). Its objective is to promote collaboration and support growth in the sector, offering visibility to artisan companies and local products. To this end, the Federation organises professional training courses, events and fairs.
The Federation is distributed throughout Italy, with delegates for every region and sub-delegates for every province, and is increasingly wider spread on an international level. The FIP has an internal roll of honour called the “Italian Pastry, Ice cream and Chocolate Excellence Equipe" (www.soipgc.it) which includes its many members who have won over 580 gold medals in international competitions.
